Why your Meta Ads learning phase keeps resetting

Meta Ads6 min read

Most accounts that stay stuck in the learning phase are not unlucky. They are being edited too often. Every meaningful change to an ad set asks the system to start learning again.

Budget jumps, new audiences, swapped creatives and changed bid strategies all count. A small, planned change once a week is far safer than three tweaks a day.

The second cause is spreading a small budget across too many ad sets. Each one needs enough conversions to learn, and a thin budget cannot feed them all.

Start by merging overlapping ad sets, then leave them alone for a full week. Measure the result before you touch anything.
